Using Stock Sentinel
What the service is, how credits work, and what it does not promise.
This is a plain-language summary, not a legal document drafted by a lawyer. It describes how the product actually works and what we do and do not undertake. If something here matters to a decision you are making, ask us.
What the service is
Stock Sentinel is an informational research tool. It measures public discussion about publicly traded companies and presents that alongside market price data, so you can see where attention is unusual and what evidence sits behind a reading.
It is not a broker, not an adviser, and not a fund. It does not hold your money, does not manage a portfolio, and does not place trades.
Not financial advice
Nothing Stock Sentinel produces is financial advice, an offer, a solicitation, or a guarantee of future performance. Labels such as Buy, Watch and Avoid are shorthand summaries of the evidence the tool assembled — a structured second opinion, not a recommendation to transact.
You remain responsible for your own decisions and risk management. Short-term signals reverse. Social discussion can be wrong, coordinated, or unrepresentative. Market data can be delayed, incomplete, or affected by news and trading halts.
Your account
- You need an account to run a scan or an analysis, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
- One account is for one person. Please do not share sign-in details.
- We may suspend an account being used to abuse the service, disrupt it for others, or break the law.
- You can ask us to close your account at any time.
Credits and payment
- $5 buys 2 credits. One credit runs one Market Scan or one Deep Analyze, from the same balance.
- Credits never expire, and there is no subscription — nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.
- The cost and your remaining balance are shown before a signed-in action, so a credit is never spent without warning.
- Eligible failed runs return the reserved credit automatically. A run that could not complete should not cost you.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page and are never displayed to or stored by Stock Sentinel.
- If something went wrong — a billing issue, a duplicate charge, a balance that did not update — contact us and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to scrape or resell the output as a data feed, circumvent the credit system, disrupt the service for other users, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the data sources it relies on.
Availability and change
Stock Sentinel is a small, actively developed product. It may be unavailable during maintenance, and features may change or be withdrawn as it improves. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime level.
Results depend on third-party market and social data providers. Their coverage, availability and terms may change, and that can change what the product can show.
Limits of responsibility
The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that results are complete, correct, or suitable for any particular purpose, and we are not responsible for trading losses or decisions made using it.
Where something has genuinely gone wrong on our side — a charge that should not have happened, a credit that was taken for a run that failed — tell us and we will put it right.
Changes to these terms
If how the product works changes, this page changes with it. It is written to describe the service as it currently operates.
